Primary Care
Primary care services at the Downriver Community Clinic are offered free of charge to the uninsured and underinsured workers in our area. Our primary care team of doctors and nurses serve the community and provide the same level of care we would for our own friends and families.
As part of our primary care offerings, we provide new patient visits and wellness exams, which include physical exams, blood pressure checks, review of rashes, and onsite lab screenings as well as more comprehensive diagnostic testing off site.
Comprehensive Care
Our clinic also delivers follow-up appointments for ER visits or hospital stays for uninsured patients, work or school exams, and diabetic visits. Our entirely volunteer based clinic team of medical professionals can review test results with you to help you understand what they mean and how to best move forward, as well as refill prescriptions, review medications, and provide flu vaccines.
Our team is trained to conduct retinal scans and provide nutrition counseling to optimize your health.
How We Help
The primary care clinic appointments cover chronic disease management, diabetes, hypertension, asthma, thyroid, and cancer screenings. Our primary care doctors and nurses can also refer you to specialists should your results require additional procedures. We are proud to offer chronic disease management and general routine care services through our primary care professionals.
